On a twitter post on Tuesday, the diplomats and state media confirmed that United Arab Emirates and Israel has signed cooperation agreements in the tourism and healthcare industries.
A healthcare partnership contract provides for physicians from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre to set up in Abu Dhabi a centre for disaster medicine, the Abu Dhabi government media office said.
From the two countries, ministers separately signed a memorandum of understanding. This would boost tourism activity, the Israeli consulate in Dubai said.
The two countries normalised relations in 2020 under U.S.-brokered pacts dubbed the “Abraham Accords.”
