BRITS who want to plan an autumn holiday abroad are waiting for the next travel update to see which countries could be open to UK travellers.

When is the next UK travel announcement?
The traffic light system is reviewed every three weeks.
The government’s last held a travel review on Thursday, August 26, with changes to the red, amber and green list.
The next update is expected this week, on Thursday, September 16.
The last review saw Canada, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the Azores given the added to the green list while France, Spain, Greece, Portugal and other European holiday hotspots stayed on amber.
But the changes were not as positive for holidaymakers in Montenegro and Thailand as both countries were added to the red list.
