Dubai’s tourism industry, similar to many major cities around the world, has been affected considerably due to collapsed consumer demand, flight restrictions and international quarantine procedures.
Air passenger arrivals from London to Dubai have went down by 69.1 percent year to date, as per official data sources.
The emirate’s tourism market has been hot hard, with bookings to Dubai from London in Q4 2020 currently at 74.1 per cent behind year-on-year. This was revealed by travel analytics firm ForwardKeys.
Dubai holidays are generally much popular with British tourists, but now with strict lockdown measures in the UAE, the UK has restricted any kind of travel. The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) keeps updating travel advice to the UAE.
