Ukrainians to get 95% discounts on Finnair flights

Finnair the Finnish national carrier has introduced special discounts for Ukrainians fleeing the war zone. Flights from select European cities are eligible for up to 95% discounts under the special fares that Finnair is charging.

Finnair has given substantial discounts to support Ukrainians who are trying to escape the conflict in their country. The reduction of the fares in Ukraine up to 95% will help the people who are seeking to escape the war.

One-way flights from Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Budapest and Prague to Helsinki are eligible for up to 95% reduction in the net fares. The code Ukraine95, can be accessed by visiting finnair website. This discount is available to Ukrainians throughout the month of March. Only the taxes and fees will be added to the tickets.

The Ukrainians can travel to Finland form the Schengen countries without requiring a passport. Other id cards like birth certificates can be used instead.

Finnair is still providing support to Ukraine  via the UNICEF relief programmes. Their customers have also donated over €200,000 worth of Finnair Plus points to provide assistance. They also have donated blankets and other materials to organisations which arrange support to Ukraine.
