Four Seasons is an internationally known luxury hospitality brand. Their first cruise ship, the Four Seasons I, will be completed in March of 2026. This will be the first of many luxury cruise ships. Designed and constructed to accommodate 190 passengers, each experience will be truly bespoke. Four Seasons I is scheduled to make her first calls in the Mediterranean and will reposition to the Caribbean for the winter 2026/2027 cruise season.

When compared to most high-end cruises, The Four Seasons will offer nearly 50% more living space per guest. The public areas on board will correspond with the brand’s signature style, showcasing the excellence and creativity Four Seasons is known for. Given the level of comfort and refinement the ship will provide, it will appeal to travelers searching for these qualities while visiting some of the world’s most sought-after cruise destinations.

VidantaWorld: Luxury with an Exclusive Touch

The Elegant, part of the Mexican hotel group Vidanta, will set sail in April 2026. The ship has been undergoing major refurbishment since 2017. Originally built in 1990, The Elegant, formerly known as Voyager, will offer adult-only, luxurious cruises to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Islands.

Unlike most cruise liners, The Elegant can reach smaller ports that are inaccessible to bigger ships. Thus, guests will uncover these secret destinations, while the cruise line’s itineraries will focus on the more remote and exclusive offerings in the Mediterranean. All Aboard for New Luxury Cruising Experiences with a Nostalgic Twist

In the middle of 2026, the Orient Express brand will enter the cruise industry with its first ship, the OE Corinthian, which will feature 54 cabins. 108 guests will be welcomed aboard the ship, which is designed with a combination of ultra-modern and classic styles. Guests will be part of a lavish cruising experience, which will include a 115-seat theatre and a fully equipped recording facility.

On the ship, guests will experience multi-night itineraries, ranging from 2 to 8 nights, throughout the Mediterranean, with stops at Monte Carlo, Portofino, Venice, and Saint-Tropez. This will be a highly sought-after cruise experience, and guests will be able to enjoy the high cruising lifestyle.

Remote Travel at its Best

By late 2026, the first expedition ship of Terra Nova, the RMS St. Helena, will be ready to set sail. This ship, a former Royal Mail ship, will provide exceptional and one-of-a-kind experiences to the southernmost continent, Antarctica. Passengers will enjoy long, slow travel-style cruises to fully immerse themselves in the extremely vast and unspoiled surroundings of Antarctica.

Despite being an older model, the St. Helena will make major improvements, including additions to passenger areas and new features like a sauna and whirlpools. This expedition vessel will serve a maximum of 150 guests and will offer them a unique opportunity to travel to some of the most remote and pristine areas of the world.

The Beginning of a New Era of Ultra-Luxury on the Sea: Aman at Sea

The Amangati, sister ship to St. Helena, set to launch in the summer of 2027, will commence a new era of ultra-luxury on the oceans. With a guest capacity of just 94 people, the T. Matiotti shipyard in Italy, also creating the Amangati, will include two helipads, a spa with a Japanese garden, and a host of other one-of-a-kind features.

Aman at Sea will begin with Mediterranean voyages, serving and catering a new style of ultra-luxury with a low guest count. Pivotal to ultra-luxury cruising will be the Amangati’s small guest capacity and great design, elevating it above its peers.

R Yacht: The Next Chapter in Travel in Japan and Worldwide Destinations

In the summer of 2027, Japan’s R Yacht will set sail with The Sefu, the first of its kind yacht-style cruise ship. It will be a smaller, more intimate cruising experience with a max capacity of 120 guests. The design of The Sefu will be unique and culturally inspired, with a focus on locally sourced food and beverage partnerships. There will be a strong emphasis on Japanese cultural partnerships.

R Yacht will initially focus its itineraries on the lesser-known and more remote destinations of Japan and Asia. The Sefu will be able to explore unique destinations and islands that the larger cruise ships cannot. Because of the smaller size and journey destinations, it will be more personalized to each traveler and a culturally inspired experience.

Conclusion: The Excitement of a New Wave of Luxury

With the anticipated launch of more cruise line routes starting in 2026, travelers will have more destinations and routes with a new surge of luxury. The Sefu and all of the new cruise ships will be able to offer passengers the luxury of cruising in new and remote destinations. The Sefu will provide travelers with the definition of luxury and a new era in cruising.
