Uttarakhand Tourism is promoting ‘workcation’ – A unique concept to applaud

The latest effort of Uttarakhand Tourism will certainly cheer up all those who were working from home. Now, all those who got tired of working from home can get a lucrative option of altering their tedious routine. Uttarakhand Tourism is endorsing a unique concept of ‘workcation’. This will allow tourism professionals to work from its charming locations, with mountains at the backdrop.


Interestingly, this package allows individuals to get rewarded to work from there. Very soon, Uttarakhand Tourism will be introducing a Tourist Incentive Coupon scheme for the ones who’ll choose Uttarakhand for a workcation. The scheme goes like this – all those who are booking a stay for a minimum of three days, will be provided with discount of up to INR Rs. 3000.


A good and seamless internet connection is all one needs to work from a remote location, Uttarakhand Tourism is also offering a wide array of well-sanitized resorts, hotels, and homestays, enhanced with all modern facilities like comfortable stay, power back-up, Wi-Fi, medical facilities, room service, healthy food, and sundry other facilities for all those who are tired and looking to visit Uttarakhand for an instant change.

Uttarakhand Tourism Secretary Dilip Jawalkar explained that as workcation has recently turned out to be a trending concept, with common people working from home during in this challenging time. This idea has become a sort of a quick escape and an effective way to take your work on a holiday break. The Uttarakhand Tourism is also offering this same package to the visitors in various resorts, hotels, and homestays in town like Lansdowne, Jim Corbett, Kausani, Mussoorie, Nainital, Dehradun, and Almora, among others.


Furthermore, many Uttarakhand resorts, hotels, and homestays are offering attractive and budget-friendly workcation packages to the tourists, which can be customized.

Safety Protocols
Visitors will have to make sure that they follow all the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines. Further, those who are keen to visit Uttarakhand can register themselves on the smart city portal and enter without any COVID-19-negative report.
