Out of the four Mini Conclaves, two conclaves specific to the tourism sector will be held in Tehri and Nainital on August 7 and August 10, respectively. The Tehri conclave will discuss tourism and wellness, and the Nainital Conclave will focus on investment opportunities in film shooting and tourism.
Satpal Maharaj, the Minister of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand said that they will organize an Ambassadors’ Meet in Delhi on August 30 to showcase the vast investment potential in the tourism sector in the State. The Minister said that the mega Investment Meet in October will have limited focus on tourism like infrastructure development, ropeways, etc., while the Mini Conclaves will display untapped potential in areas like adventure tourism, culinary tourism, etc., in the State before the investors.
Uttarakhand Tourism has also fixed the agenda for domestic road shows for promoting the State in the domestic market. These road shows will be held in Bengaluru (August 22), Hyderabad (August 23), Ahmedabad (August 24), Mumbai (August 29) and Delhi (August 30).
