From touring ancient cities and historic sites to attending the Flower Festivals, Uzbekistan offers a lot of activities for tourists. Here are some travel advice and recommendations for Uzbekistan, ranging from travel and language to local food and Uzbek culture.

Visa
First and foremost, check the visa requirements and apply for a visa if necessary before travelling to Uzbekistan. Several nations do not require visas or have visa-on-arrival agreements with Uzbekistan.

Language
The official language is Uzbek, however Russian is widely spoken. Because English is not frequently used, learning some basic Uzbek or Russian phrases is beneficial.

Currency
The Uzbekistani som is the country’s official currency. It is best to exchange money at official exchange offices or banks rather than in the black market.

Transport
Uzbekistan has an advanced transportation infrastructure that includes buses, cabs, and railways. The “Afrosiyob” high-speed train is a handy means to travel between cities.

Food
Uzbek cuisine is tasty and distinct, including dishes like plov (rice pilaf), shashlik (grilled meat), and lagman (noodle soup). Don’t forget to taste the native bread known as “non.”

Culture
The International Flower Festival of Namangan, held in May and June, is a beautiful presentation of the region’s natural and cultural variety. This festival highlights the imagination and expertise of the locals who have transformed their city into a stunning natural garden. It offers tourists a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about Namangan’s traditional arts and crafts and to enjoy the region’s rich culture.

Sightseeing
Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva are just a few of the ancient towns and historic places of Uzbekistan. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites provide insight into the country’s rich history and culture.
Overall, Uzbekistan is a lovely nation with kind people and a rich cultural heritage. Travel to Uzbekistan may be a wonderful experience with little planning and preparation.
