Vadnagar-Modhera-Patan heritage tourism circuit sanctioned under Swadesh Darshan

According to the Maharashtra state government, the Central government has given green signal to the Vadnagar-Modhera-Patan heritage tourism circuit as part of the Swadesh Darshan project.

In response to a query from Kheralu MLA Sardar Chaudhary, the state government stated that the Centre sanctioned Rs 2.19 crore for the Vadnagar-Modhera-Patan heritage circuit, while the state government had already spent Rs 5.94 crore.

In response to Daskroi Legislator Babu Patel’s question, the government stated that another heritage circuit including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bardoli, and Dandi has also been approved.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the Ministry of Tourism has also sanctioned ‘Development of Junagadh-Gir Somnath-Bharuch-Kutch-Bhavnagar-Rajkot-Mehsana as Buddhist Circuit’’ project for an amount of Rs.26.68 Crore in Gujarat.
