Cuba will host the 24th edition of the MITM Americas (Meetings & Incentive Travel Market), considered the oldest business tourism fair in Latin America and the Caribbean, its organizing committee announced today.

The event, which will take place from September 4 to 7 at the Varadero beach resort, will bring together nearly 50 international buyers, managers of corporate companies, incentive and luxury agencies, international associations, event planners, congress organizers and tour operators with a MICE -business tourism- focus.

Organized by GSAR Marketing and sponsored by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, Melia Hotels and Cubatur, it will allow visitors to get to know the international offer and the world of possibilities that Cuba offers in this type of tourism, as well as its events through the exclusive Networking program.

The fair returns to Cuba for the fifth time and will be held this time at the emblematic Hotel Melia Varadero, which boasts the largest congress center on the island, a privileged location and magnificent facilities for events.

GSAR Marketing, the main organizer of the fair, is a global tourism marketing company that is part of the Convenco Group, the first “Incentive House” in Spain founded 46 years ago, in 1973.
