With hands-on and continuous efforts, Vietnam is considering to restart international tourism while flexibly getting used to to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After two years of suspension, the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2022 is taking place, which is the largest annual tourism trade fair in Vietnam.

Vietnam welcomed around 91,000 international arrivals in the first quarter of this year, which is an increase of 89.1 percent compared to the same period last year, as per the country’s General Statistics Office.

Over the past few weeks, promotion activities are going up across localities including the Vietnamese capital Hanoi, northern QuangNinh province, and central Quang Nam province to welcome backtourists.

Several new products like marine tourism, cultural tourism and eco-tourism with unique features of localities have been launched to bolster the upcoming summer travel season.
