Due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition-MIIT 2020 will not take place between March 17-19 . Hyve Group, the expo’s oraganiser announced that it will take place on a later date.

Hyve Group said that in the past few weeks they were working to provide the safest environment for the staff and customers and were in line with the federal guidelines.

They took all measures to ensure the sanitary safety of their participants and visitors. They regretted that the situation was developing rapidly and has reached a critical level by now.

MIIT annually attracts around 22,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibiting companies and organisations from all corners of the world to showcase their travel opportunities to the Russian outbound market.

At the Russia’s largest exhibition center Crocus Expo the event was scheduled this year.

Being a socially responsible company they are not just concerned about the business of the participants and visitors but also about their health.

The organisers expressed sympathy and support to those countries that have suffered the most from coronavirus. They also hoped that all common measures needed to normalize the situation are taken.
