Visa-free entry in Oman for tourists from 103 countries

One of the most pivotal reasons for an increase in the influx of tourists in Oman is the launching of visa-free entry for people of 103 countries.

The verdict to prolong visa-free entry for 14 days for travellers from 103 countries has become a facilitator in boosting the tourism sector of the Gulf country.

This decision for visa-free entry was taken to spur and stand with the tourism industry in Oman. The visa-free facilities are being provided in keeping with particular regulations and circumstances.

As per the latest figures available from the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the Sultanate of Oman received a huge 348 per cent increase in tourists last year compared to 2021 with 2.9 million tourists coming to Oman in 2022.

The gush in the entrance of tourists witnessed the earnings of 3-5 star hotels going up by 50.8 per cent at the end of January this year compared to the equivalent period last year to stand at OMR 20.79 million.
