Visit Sarasota County to observe National Travel and Tourism Week 2023

National Travel and Tourism Week is a yearly celebration that is keen on emphasizing the U.S. travel community and the role that travel plays all over the United States of America. From 4:30 to 6:30 pm, on May 8th, ticketholders will get a chance to be present at this thrilling evening event that will celebrate this week that is dedicated to hospitality and traveling. The Visit Sarasota County will host this event and will be organized at The Hyatt Regency Sarasota. It’s located at 1000 Blvd. of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.

The event will have music, trivia, games and giveaways. There will be samples as well from many restaurants this year who will be taking part in the forthcoming Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week. VSC will honor those who carry on preserving the tourism industry by inspiring and moving forward.

VSC in 2023 will give tribute to Michael Klauber as the receiver of the 2023 Voice of Sarasota Tourism award, noting the effect he has had on the community. Klauber is the co-owner of the On East restaurant of Michael as well as a wine professional who has considerably impacted the Sarasota tourism community in all these years.
