Also, tourism businesses are requested to adapt by creating “gourmet baby menus”, cut-price offerings for cash-strapped millennials interested to “selectively splurge” on special treats, make the most of the growing demand in terms of creative retreat holidays and create new events to attract increasing number of lone business travelers together.
Also, they are being warned that the visitor of the future will be anticipating a “frictionless” journey to Scotland, with increased pressures on customer service when things go wrong and to make amendments. As per VisitScotland in its annual research says that wellness tourism is a prime new “movement” which has previously recognized increasing demand in terms of digital detox breaks, holidays targeted Scotland’s dark history and the “coorie” lifestyle for taking the maximum advantage of the outdoors. At present, the industry in Scotland is believed to be worth around £11 billion and support 14,000 businesses, is said to be “well-placed” to take advantage of the worldwide demand interest in terms of wellness tourism, which is at present estimated at almost £500 million and growing fast.
