With new CLAWS FEAST, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler Cracks Open Coastal Flavours

It’s time to get cracking: the new CLAWS FEAST menu at Braidwood Tavern at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is bursting with juicy flavours from the West and East coasts.

Guests can enjoy succulent live BC Dungeness crab or live Nova Scotia lobster cooked to perfection with a choice of flavour, starter, and sides. It’s a hands-on culinary experience, complete with lobster crackers and seafood forks to tuck into the ultimate-in-gourmet delicacies.

Braidwood Tavern’s crack culinary team came together and drew inspiration from their respective hometowns to create four distinct flavour profiles. Demi Chef Alvin Sarmiento, for instance, pays homage to his Philippine heritage with the signature chili garlic butter, featuring soy, green onions, and lemon drizzle. Sumatra features a bright blend of Indonesian spices, house-made sambal (a zesty chili paste), lemon grass, lime leaves, and organic egg white. Cioppino is a cherished seafood tomato broth with white wine and ­fine herbs. Curry combines traditional spice with curry leaves, cilantro, and coconut.

The coastal culinary journey begins with a choice of mouth-watering starters: miso soup, studded with tofu, seasonal vegetables and seaweed; or creamy corn chowder enhanced with egg white and scallion.

CLAWS FEAST comes with a selection of sides: hearty chili broccoli, fluffy potato bread, fragrant jasmine rice, or flaky paratha bread.

BC Dungeness crab is renowned for its sweet, buttery taste and tender meat, while Nova Scotia lobster is prized for its salty-sweet chewiness. They both represent the pinnacle of Canada’s coastal epicurean delights. Many of the CLAWS FEAST menu items are gluten-free and/or dairy-free.

CLAWS FEAST is the perfect way to relax at Braidwood Tavern, recently renovated with its cozy feel of a mountainside cabin. Home to Uncle Bruce, Braidwood’s marmot-in-residence, the Tavern has an outstanding selection of cocktails, beer, and wine to go with the seafood extravaganza.

CLAWS FEAST is available daily until March 12, 2023 from 3:00 to 10 pm.
