Wow Air will fly on new route – UK to Vancouver from June 2019

Wow Air to fly on  a new route that connects UK with Vancouver, Canada, in Summer 2019.

It will be the first Icelandic airline to offer low-cost, long-haul flight on this route.

The first flight will depart on 6^th June, 2019 from London Gatwick Airport and reach Vancouver International Airport, via Reykjavík. The flight time from Reykjavik to Vancouver International Airport will be around seven hours 55 minutes. The total journey time from London Gatwick to Vancouver International Airport will be approximate 14 hours, including stopover.

Wow Air will fly its A321neo aircraft six times per week, from June-October 2019.

Skúli Mogensen, chief executive of Wow Air, said that now they have three destinations in the route network in Canada – Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. He adds that Wow Air’s flight on this route will provide opportunities to travellers who want to fly on budget.
