WOW launches €150 flights from Ireland to Canada

Published on : Friday, June 30, 2017

wow-airlineCanada is ready to celebrate its 150 years since Confederation, motivating WOW Air to declare minimized prices to the nation.

The flights from Dublin and Cork to Toronto and Montreal are currently available from €150 each-way and this includes charges and taxes. However, the flights are not direct and it includes a brief stopover in Keflavik Airport of Iceland. The checked baggage fees are a bit extra and so is the cost for drinks, food and reserved seat selection.

The travel dates are also restricted to January and February 2018 including the flights to Toronto and Montreal from Dublin and October 2017 including the ones from Cork.

Marking a contrast is AerLingus that presently offers Dublin to Toronto flights from €274 each way but also comprises a 23 kg checked bag, food and entertainment in the price.

Air Canada, Air Transport and WestJet also offer options.

1st July, Canada Day observes the enactment of the Constitution Act of 1867 that had united the three colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Canada.

WOW is scheduled to fly to Reykjavik up to ten times weekly from Ireland. It would have a stopover option permitting travellers to plan their flight connections at no additional cost.
