MP to take part in WTM 2022 in London

At the central point of India lies a place which can easily shock even the most seasoned traveler. Madhya Pradesh is an excellent state in its offerings as well as unusually unexplored. In the wilderness of the state, peacocks stroll naturally all through the deep forests of teak wood and tigers hang around through numerous wildlife sanctuaries of the of the country. MP is the home to 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites along with being the region in the sub-continent with highest population of tigers and plentiful in terms of picturesque locations and natural beauty. Also, it is known for a wide assorted of gastronomic delights that originate from Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior and a range of art and craft comprising the world renowned handloom fabrics from Chanderi and Maheshwar.

The state of Madhya Pradesh at WTM 2022 will display the huge diversity which comprises rural and agri tourism projects, besides wellness and spiritual tourism. As a mission, the state has hold close Responsible Tourism with the target to reduce the negative financial, environmental and social effect of tourism and to offer pleasant experiences for tourists via improved local participation. Under this mission, rural tourism is one of the main projects and is being executed in 100 villages of this central state of India. This project aims to portray the exclusivity of the six cultural zones of the state.
