WYSE Travel Confederation releases second analysis of COVID-19 Travel business impact series

Published on : Wednesday, March 18, 2020

The second analysis of this survey series focusses on the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on different sectors of the youth travel industry.

The survey, conducted by WYSE Travel Confederation and based on 600 respondents*, demonstrates that most sectors reported drops in demand for Q1 2020 in comparison to the same period in 2019. However, the picture is mixed in terms of what sectors are expecting for the rest of the year; for a more in-depth look, view part two of the series.

COVID-19 and youth travel
WYSE Travel Confederation will be publishing more findings from its COVID-19 Travel business impact survey in the coming weeks.

*Respondents included member and non-member organisations specialised in youth travel products as well as those representing mainstream travel products.
