Youtravel.com appoints tow new managers in UK

Youtravel.com, one of the leading accommodation suppliers has appointed two new distribution managers to its United Kingdom team to grow the brand.

Jodie Turner and Kate Simpson, who both left Holiday Taxis in December, joined the youtravel.com team on January 4 with the brief to grow UAE-based youtravel’s presence in United Kingdom.

Both Turner and Simpson will report to youtravel’s UK general manager Matthew Carpenter.

Youtravel’s UK general manager Matthew Carpenter said that their mission for next 1 year is very simple and supports its growth in all existing partnerships and to grow UK and Ireland with its customer base.

According the management of youtravel.com, it have a strong UK presence at the moment and they need to work hard to sustain that, but they also know that there are many customers out there that they are not working with today, and they are excited for Kate and Jodie to come in and help them achieve the goals-with the support of the rest of the UK Distribution team.

Their principal status and the fact that they self-audit all of our own properties should put them in a strong position especially with the new travel package regulations being introduced later this year.

Carpenter said there has been further investment in youtravel’s hotel chain Labranda Hotels & Resorts, and said there was “further exciting news” to come from the chain in the coming weeks.
