The Tourism Board of Zminj in Istria, the largest island peninsula in Adiriatic Sea this year bagged the Simply the Beast award in the category of the innovative and creative projects in travel and tourism.
This award was granted by the specialised magazine for the tourism development in Croatia and the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies with an aim to develop the creativity and the advancement of the tourists offerings like rewarding the people, institutions and the companies who made the tourism business in Croatia better.
Zminj Tourist Board applied with the three manifestations like the “Istrijanske pinci pod na ugnjisce” or the Istrian Sweet Bread under Peka, Pasta festival and Bartulija. These fairs and fests help the place for the tourism promotions. The tourists gather best there which help the tourist’s expenditure best.
The Director of Zminj Tourist Board Lenka Sajina called the award as the biggest leap in the success in the travel and tourism business and it is a biggest recognition for the tourists.
The Director of Zminj Tourist Board said that the maximum support from the local community plays an important role in the final success of all the manifestations.
