The World Travel & Tourism Council has recently declared about the news of the selection of the CEO of VFS Global, Zubin Karkaria, to the Executive Committee of WTTC.
The appointment of Karkaria comes after major expansion of VFS Global in the recent two decades, and Karkaria’s important contribution to the Travel & Tourism sector.
VFS Global is the largest outsourcing and technology services specialist, headquartered in Dubai, UAE. It is associated with the governments and diplomatic missions. VFS Global is a trusted partner of 67 client governments, and has a worldwide network of over 3,400 application centres in more than 145 nations, handling non-judgemental and administrative responsibilities in terms of visa applications, passport and consular services.
WTTC President & CEO, Julia Simpson, said that she is quite happy to greet such an important partner to the Tourism sector of the Executive Committee of WTTC.
The growth of VFS Global in the last twenty years is evidence to the vision and leadership of Zubin. Millions of travellers have been succeeded to move all through the world with no hindrance, thanks to the main role VFS Global that it plays behind the scenes in the sector.
Zubin Karkaria also said that it’s an honor for him to become a member of WTTC’s Executive Committee, the top global travel and tourism body, having the thought leaders from the most important hospitality, travel and tourism association.
