17th Chagan Lake Ice Fishing Festival to start in Jilin province in China

The 17th Chagan Lake Ice Fishing Festival is about to start in China’s Jilin Province. The festival will feature ice fishing displays, ice sculptures and traditional folk arts. This year, it is predicted that approximately 1,500 tons of fish caught in the lake will hit the market with the ancient tradition working to boost the local economy and tourism.
