Tigerbay, Atcore’s reservation and e-commerce platform has become the new technology partner for the Saga holiday brands , the Saga Holidays, Titan Travel and Saga Cruise.
Tigerbay stated that the deal will be extended over a 10-year period since Saga selected the technology company in part for its future-proofed platform, which has been built to withstand the continued growth and shifts of technology.
The platform will be initially rolled out across Titan Travel that will avail the existing extensive tours functionality of Tigerbay to manage its tours business.
New packaging functionality will be used by the Saga Holidays in its “Stay” business and the Saga Cruise brand will also implement the new technology to promote its cruise product.
The three Saga brands will use Tigerbay’s latest API to enhance their current websites along with developing a new B2B website for agents.
Carl Morgan, managing director of Tigerbay, said that the Saga brand is one of the best known in the UK for holidays and for the range of quality services it offers its carefully targeted 50+ market.
