Daring feats drawing tourists to Guilin

A performer was suspended above a giant pot tossing rice noodles into hot water at a theme park in Guilin, a Chinese city popular for its rice noodles. Such daring feats are attracting visitors to the city. Tourism is booming in Guilin with the number of tourists to the scenic city in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region witnessed a record high in the first half of this year. The local government of the city said that more than 61.4 million people visited the city, which is famous for its picturesque karst mountains and beautiful rivers.
