For on board international trains linking Spain and France the Renfe-SNFC partnership will now offer a free WI-Fi service.
All the clients can avail the Wi-Fi connections service who will board international trains in Spanish and French territory and it will be completely free of charge.
Travellers should access one of the two connection platforms to enjoy the service provided by Renfe and SNFC via Play Renfe on the routes connecting Lyon-Barcelona and Marseille Barcelona-Madrid, or Le Wi-Fi, on routes Paris-Barcelona and Toulouse-Barcelona.
Clients will be able to access 4G connectivity in the mentioned platforms and can enjoy digital contents on the platform apart from on-demand information on timetables, fares and buying tickets.
Barcelona, Girona and Figueras with Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Carcassonne, Marseille, Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence or Valence are linked by the Renfe-SNCF services.
Clients can travel Marseille, Avignon or Aix-en-Provence covering the southern French cities of Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier or Nimes. It starts from Madrid, Zaragoza or Tarragona.
International travellers can avail the most by the two leading high-speed rail operators.
Ten high-speed trains were provided by each company to this project providing full cooperation in the process to certify the trains and crews.
To offer a single product a joint marketing and sales strategy was set up.
