Rogers joins Farnborough International as chief executive

Former Southampton FC chief executive, Gareth Rogers has been appointed by Farnborough International as its new chief executive.

Farnborough International is the owner of the Farnborough International Airshow and operator of the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.

Rogers will take control of the company during an important period in Farnborough’s continued growth and diversification.

A new 20,000 sqm exhibition and conference facility will open in 2018.

He holds an impressive track record of success at Southampton FC where he joined as chief financial officer in 2011 and later  promoted to chief executive in 2014. He was  instrumental in developing and sustaining the club’s commercial growth and on-field success during his tenure.

Rogers was delighted to join the company at this exciting time and is looking forward to lead during such an exciting business, putting on high-profile events and experiences.
