+1 Presents, Istanbul, Salon İKSV

Istanbul’s Salon İKSV, renowned for its intimate live music experiences in Beyoğlu, is once again expanding its reach with the Gezgin Salon (Traveling Salon) initiative, powered by +1. This initiative is celebrated through the +1 Presents: Gezgin Salon Festival, set to unfold amidst the lush surroundings of Bonus Parkorman on the weekend of June 29th and 30th. The festival boasts an exciting lineup, kicking off with Stavroz on the opening day, followed by Parcels and La Femme on the concluding day. Ticket sales are set to commence on February 14th, Wednesday.

Additional performers will be disclosed on the official Salon website and its various social media platforms.

Parcels, the band with Berlin roots and origins from Byron Bay, Australia, gained acclaim with their self-titled debut album in 2018, earning high praise from NME magazine for its engaging and timeless appeal. Their subsequent album, Day/Night, was celebrated in the UK, especially by Rolling Stone. Having performed to full houses globally, including prestigious venues like the Hollywood Bowl in LA and SummerStage in Central Park, NYC, Parcels has been likened to Daft Punk, especially with their shift towards live disco sounds in Live Vol. 2, recorded in Paris.

La Femme, the enigmatic force in French psychedelia, returns to Istanbul after last year’s performance, bringing their unique blend of rock and roll and psychedelia to new fans. With a discography that includes five albums over the past 13 years, their debut, Psycho Tropical Berlin, and its successor, Mystère, have both garnered significant accolades and chart success. Their recent work includes albums inspired by travels in Hispanic countries, showcasing their versatile sound that spans genres from psychedelia to electronica.

Stavroz, the Belgian minimal techno quartet, is celebrated for their immersive live sets that capture the audience’s mood, blending electronica with ethnic, acoustic, and jazz elements. The group, founded by IJsbrand De Wilde and Gert Beazar, later expanded to include Maxim Helincks and Pieter De Meester, establishing themselves as a leading act in electronic music with a significant following on platforms like Spotify and performances at major festivals worldwide.
