The 18th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference commenced on April 11th, 2024, in Xingyi city, Southwest China’s Guizhou province. Hosted by the People’s Government of Guizhou Province and centered on the theme “Promoting Deep Integration of Culture and Tourism and Building a World-class Tourist Destination,” the conference emphasized the values of “simplicity, delicacy, thoughtfulness, and safety.”
Since 2006, the Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference has been an annual event, aiming to expedite the growth of Guizhou’s tourism sector into a leading industry. It has been rotated among all cities and prefectures in Guizhou, successfully completing 17 sessions.
Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, situated in the southwest of Guizhou Province, China, boasts exceptional transportation networks and is renowned for its pristine natural landscapes and diverse ethnic cultures. Its tourism offerings primarily feature mountainous vistas, ethnic heritage, and historical sites. Notable attractions include the picturesque Maling River Canyon, Wanfeng Forest in Xingyi, Wanfeng Lake, and the Guizhou Longhua Stone Group. Additionally, visitors can experience the unique Bouyei folk art of “Eight-Note Seated Singing.”
In recent years, Qianxinan Prefecture has prioritized Health Tourism by leveraging its existing mountain tourism assets. Numerous health-focused tourism projects and premium travel routes have been introduced to cater to health-conscious travelers seeking a rejuvenating experience.
