TUI River Cruises has revealed plans to add two brand-new ships to its future fleet, marking a major milestone in the company’s strategy to expand and modernise its river cruise operations. The new ships will significantly strengthen TUI River Cruises’ growth ambitions, expanding the fleet from six vessels in 2026 to a planned total of ten ships by 2028. Designed with future sustainability requirements in mind, both new-build vessels will be developed with advanced technology that allows them to support the transition towards alternative fuels, particularly methanol.
