From December 2026, Ethiopian Airlines will fly four times weekly between Addis Ababa and Port Harcourt, with scheduled passenger services. This route will provide multiple passenger and cargo transport opportunities, and will enhance ethiopian’s operations in West Africa. The addition of this route will also give ethiopian’s customers world wide convenient connections through Addis Ababa.
The new route will begin operations on 1 December 2026 and will further enhance Ethiopian Airlines’ presence in the Nigerian market. The service will provide passengers with improved travel options between Port Harcourt and the airline’s extensive international network via Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
The Port Harcourt service will operate four times a week, with flights scheduled every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The route will be operated using the Boeing 737 MAX 8 (ET 7M8) aircraft, offering passengers a modern and efficient travel experience.
