23 new partner airlines soar into Hahn Air’s network in 2023

Hahn Air reflects on a successful 2023 in the business world. As the premier provider of ticketing services for travel agencies, they have seamlessly incorporated 23 new airlines into their expansive partner network, which now boasts over 350 carriers. This extensive network empowers 100,000 travel agencies across 190 markets to issue flights from Hahn Air’s partner airlines through their Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

Kirsten Rehmann, the CEO of Hahn Air, expresses her satisfaction with this year’s business achievements, stating, “We are thrilled with the results we’ve achieved this year. It’s truly remarkable to witness the travel industry’s resurgence, with ticket sales nearly reaching the levels seen in 2019. As we look ahead, we eagerly anticipate next year, which marks the 25th anniversary of our ticketing business.”

Hahn Air has seen eleven airlines enter into interline agreements with them, while twelve partners have expanded their distribution reach in collaboration with Hahn Air’s sister companies, Hahn Air Systems and Hahn Air Technologies. Travel agents have the convenience of booking and ticketing all partner airlines by selecting Hahn Air as the validating carrier. For interline partners, this extends to markets where these airlines are not part of local settlement systems (BSPs or ARC), where they don’t provide ticketing authorization, or where they don’t accept the preferred payment method. For other airlines, this means broader availability across all major GDSs, even in the absence of their own agreements. Furthermore, many partners are accessible for multi-airline ticketing, even if they lack direct contracts with each other. This reservation and ticketing process follows standard GDS procedures.
