Gold Bar is coming to India, Copitas at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE is hosting a Tokyo takeover on August 21, 2026. With All Things Nice and Gold Bar, guests will get to try new cocktails created with local Bengaluru and Japanese ingredients. The Tokyo cocktails will use the principles of Japanese modern mixology to bring contemporary cocktails to Bengaluru. The takeover illustrates how a high-end hotel can offer guests a postcard from Tokyo through their pop-up bar. Leading the collaboration is Gold Bar Outlet Manager, Andrei Marcu, at Copitas.
At the centre of the takeover will be a selection of drinks inspired by the golden age of cocktails. Timeless preparations such as the Martini, Daiquiri and Manhattan have been reimagined at Gold Bar through contemporary techniques and Japanese ingredients. That approach will be introduced to Bengaluru guests for one night, allowing the identity of the Tokyo bar to be experienced within the setting of Copitas.
The event has been positioned as more than a visiting drinks menu. An exclusive cocktail experience in India will be created through the combination of mixology, service, music and the established hospitality environment at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE. The format will allow Gold Bar’s cocktail philosophy to be presented without requiring guests to travel to Japan.
The collaboration also places two distinctive bar environments within the same programme. Gold Bar brings a Tokyo-led interpretation of classic cocktails, while Copitas provides the Bengaluru setting, skyline views and service framework. Through this arrangement, luxury hospitality will be expressed through a carefully staged evening centred on drinks, atmosphere and guest engagement.

The format also allows the visiting concept to be experienced inside an established luxury hotel environment, rather than being separated from the wider guest journey.
The takeover will be led by Andrei Marcu, Outlet Manager at Gold Bar, whose international career has included roles across several well-known bar destinations. Originally from Romania, Marcu established Atelier Coupette in Soho, which was recognised as “One to Watch” by The World’s 50 Best Bars. His career later took him to Japan, where Bar Bota at Four Seasons Hotel Osaka was led by him before he joined Gold Bar at The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon.
At Gold Bar, his experience has been applied to a cocktail programme in which familiar classics are reconsidered through modern preparation methods and Japanese influences. That perspective will be brought directly to Copitas during the Bengaluru takeover.
His participation gives the event a clear hospitality focus. Rather than simply having recipes reproduced, the bar’s approach will be represented by the person currently responsible for helping shape its outlet experience. For guests attending at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE, the evening will therefore combine the drinks associated with Gold Bar with the service perspective behind them. It is through this connection that luxury hospitality and international mixology will be brought together for the one-night event.

Copitas has been selected as the setting for the takeover, with its recognised bar environment and sweeping Bengaluru skyline views forming the backdrop. The programme will bring together cocktails, music and hospitality in an evening intended to be shared and savoured. According to the hotel’s management, Copitas has been developed as a venue where guests can encounter new flavours, perspectives and memorable experiences, making the visiting Tokyo concept consistent with that approach.
The event is being presented in partnership with All Things Nice and will take place only on 21 August 2026. For the hospitality sector, the format demonstrates how an international bar identity can be introduced through a focused guest experience within an existing luxury property, while remaining faithful to the concepts described by the participating venues.
At Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE, the visiting programme will add a temporary Tokyo dimension to the Copitas experience. The exclusive cocktail experience in India will be centred on the meeting of Gold Bar’s Japanese-influenced mixology and Copitas’ established service setting. In this way, luxury hospitality will be delivered through a single-night collaboration rather than a permanent concept change.
The evening will therefore be presented as a hospitality-led cultural exchange, expressed specifically through cocktails, service and atmosphere.
Gold Bar will give a one night visit to Copitas on 21 August 2026 to bring the Tokyo cocktail program to Bengaluru through a hospitality collaboration. Led by Andrei Marcu and presented in partnership with All Things Nice, guests can expect an interpretation of cocktail classics using Japanese techniques and ingredients. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE will provide guests a unique opportunity for cocktail indulgence in India. The hotel will offer a combination of drinks, music, views and service. The Copitas takeover will join two bar cultures for one night and will also stress the role of luxury hospitality in guest experiences.
