Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026 Brings Global Yachting Innovation to Florida

Fort Lauderdale, one of the world’s leading yachting destinations, is preparing to host the 67th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The five-day exhibition will bring together yacht manufacturers, marine technology companies, boating enthusiasts and international buyers for one of the industry’s most significant annual gatherings.

Organised by Informa Markets and owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, the event is recognised as the world’s largest in-water boat show. This year’s programme will feature an extensive selection of luxury superyachts, recreational boats, sportfishing vessels and innovative marine technologies.

Organisers expect more than 50 vessel debuts, including world premieres and first appearances in the United States. Among the principal attractions will be a 305-foot Oceanco superyacht, new hybrid-powered vessels and several models designed to improve performance, onboard comfort and operational efficiency.

The exhibition also reinforces Fort Lauderdale’s position within the international luxury travel and marine tourism sectors, attracting visitors interested in yacht ownership, charter experiences and waterfront recreation.

Oceanco Draak Leads the Superyacht Line-Up

One of the most prominent vessels scheduled to appear is the 305-foot Oceanco Draak, originally delivered in 2014.

The vessel has undergone significant modifications to support scientific research and marine exploration. It now serves as a companion yacht to Leviathan, with specialised facilities designed for expedition operations.

Its equipment includes a dedicated diving centre, medical treatment facilities, a hyperbaric chamber and extensive tender-handling capabilities.

Another major attraction is Lady Christine, a 223-foot superyacht constructed by Dutch shipbuilder Feadship and delivered in 2010.

Designed for long-distance cruising, the vessel accommodates up to ten guests and features exterior styling and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Its interiors were developed by Rodney Black Design Studios.

Powered by twin MTU engines, Lady Christine offers an approximate cruising range of 7,600 nautical miles, making it suitable for extended international voyages.

The 209-foot Scout, built by Hakvoort in 2019, will also feature prominently. Designed as an explorer yacht, Scout combines ice-class construction with long-range cruising capabilities.

Its facilities include a helideck, observation lounge and spacious outdoor decks, while its cruising range reaches approximately 4,800 nautical miles.

Together, these vessels demonstrate the growing diversity of the superyacht market, from traditional luxury cruising to specialised expedition travel.

Pearl 100 Hybrid Highlights New Marine Technology

Marine technology will be another important focus of the 2026 exhibition, particularly with the introduction of vessels incorporating alternative propulsion systems and lightweight construction.

Pearl Yachts will present the Pearl 100 Hybrid, a 100-foot raised-pilothouse superyacht representing the company’s largest model to date.

The vessel is also the first Pearl yacht to incorporate hybrid propulsion, marking an important development in the manufacturer’s product range.

With five staterooms, expansive outdoor spaces and advanced onboard systems, the model combines luxury accommodation with an alternative propulsion configuration.

The Delta 72 will introduce another approach to yacht efficiency through its lightweight carbon-fibre construction.

Developed with Mannerfelt Design, the 72-foot vessel uses structural weight reduction to support improved fuel efficiency and cruising range.

Its flexible deck arrangement is designed for recreational cruising, social gatherings and longer journeys.

These introductions illustrate how manufacturers are incorporating new engineering approaches into premium recreational vessels as buyers increasingly consider efficiency alongside comfort and performance.

Viking and Valhalla Prepare Four World Premieres

American yacht manufacturers Viking Yacht Company and Valhalla Boatworks will introduce four models during the Fort Lauderdale exhibition.

The scheduled world premieres include the second-generation Viking 70 Convertible, Viking 64 Sport Coupe, Viking 50 Sport Coupe and Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht.

The new vessels address different sections of the recreational boating market, ranging from tournament sportfishing to owner-operated cruising.

The Viking 70 Convertible will represent the manufacturer’s latest development in larger sportfishing yachts, while the Sport Coupe models will offer alternative configurations for cruising and recreational use.

The Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht will further expand the company’s product range.

These introductions are expected to attract interest from professional boating operators, private buyers and marine industry representatives attending the exhibition.

Prestige, Absolute and Princess Expand Luxury Yacht Choices

Several European manufacturers will also use FLIBS 2026 to introduce new models to the American market.

The Prestige M8 EVO, a 65-foot power catamaran, will make its United States debut following its world premiere in September.

The three-deck yacht features panoramic glazing, flexible outdoor seating arrangements and a sheltered cockpit terrace.

Galeon Yachts will introduce the 57-foot Galeon 570 SKY, which combines a streamlined hardtop appearance with the practical advantages of a flybridge.

Its concealed upper deck includes navigation controls and convertible seating, while an optional Beach Mode package adds fold-down balconies.

British manufacturer Princess Yachts will showcase the Princess C48, a 49-foot powerboat available in Open and Deck Saloon configurations.
