The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, the industry’s leading travel tech show, has named Sabre its ATM Travel Tech Strategic Partner. This partnership is a reflection of the travel and tech sector’s future and digitally transformative value. The ATM 2026 conference themes and programming will include artificial intelligence (AI), data, and next-generation technologies.

The partnership comes as travel companies are rapidly adopting AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency, enhance business resilience and create more personalised, connected experiences for travellers. Sabre highlights that the travel industry is moving beyond AI systems that simply provide recommendations towards agentic AI, which can take actions and manage complex traveller journeys in real time.

Scheduled from 14–17 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, ATM 2026 will explore these emerging technologies under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology”. The ATM Travel Tech platform will bring together global technology providers, innovators and travel businesses to discuss the solutions and trends shaping the next era of global tourism.

Chad Callaghan, Director, Product Marketing, Sabre, said: “Travellers don’t think about the technology behind a trip; they simply expect it to work. As AI moves from providing answers to taking action, Sabre’s role is to provide the trusted, enterprise-
grade technology that connects those experiences to the systems that power travel. That means turning intent into journeys that can actually be searched, booked, and serviced.”

Sabre highlights that the travel industry is experiencing a major transformation, moving from AI systems that simply provide improved responses towards advanced solutions designed to create better outcomes for travellers. This shift is reflected in the rapid growth of Sabre’s AI ecosystem, with the number of active pilot and production partners using its Agentic APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server increasing from 30 in the first quarter to more than 60 in the second quarter.

Sabre’s MCP server acts as a secure connection layer between third-party AI agents and complex travel technology systems. It enables AI agents to independently search, book and manage travel services using real-time enterprise inventory. Powered by predictive intelligence and extensive travel data, Sabre’s AI-driven solutions are helping airlines, hotels and travel companies improve efficiency while creating more seamless and personalised experiences for customers.

The company’s technology currently handles more than 11 billion shopping requests every month and around 14,000 transactions every second. By analysing over 50 petabytes of travel data, Sabre helps travel providers predict market trends, adapt to changing demand patterns and deliver more customised travel solutions.

These advancements will take centre stage at ATM Travel Tech, which will launch as a dedicated co-located event during ATM 2026. Featuring more than 180 exhibitors from across the globe, the event will highlight the latest developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive technologies, fintech and smart mobility, demonstrating how technology is reshaping every aspect of the global travel ecosystem.

Danielle Curtis, Regional Portfolio Director – UAE, RX Global, said: “Technology is now central to almost every business decision being made across the travel industry, making it essential that ATM brings together the organisations driving that
change.

“Sabre has played an important role in the evolution of travel technology, making them a natural partner for ATM Travel Tech. Their expertise will add significant value to the discussions taking place across the Future Stage and Tech & Innovation Hub
as we explore our theme, Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology.

“By bringing together technology leaders, travel businesses and policymakers, ATM provides a platform for the industry to exchange ideas, address shared challenges and identify the opportunities that will influence travel over the coming decades.”

At the centre of the event, the Future Stage will focus on how organisations are using artificial intelligence, automation, data intelligence and advanced digital technologies to enhance decision-making, improve traveller experiences and boost business performance. Expert-led sessions from organisations such as Dragon Trail and Videc will explore key areas including AI-driven destination marketing, digital transformation strategies and investment opportunities within the travel technology sector.

The Tech & Innovation Hub will provide visitors with a hands-on experience of emerging solutions through live demonstrations and interactive showcases, allowing industry professionals to explore the latest advancements shaping the future of travel.

ATM Travel Tech will be a key part of Arabian Travel Market 2026, scheduled from 14–17 September at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will bring together global destinations, hospitality companies, airlines, technology innovators and tourism professionals to discuss the trends, partnerships and technological developments transforming the international travel sector. It will also create a platform for industry leaders to address new opportunities and challenges influencing the future of global tourism.
