A fan of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines marks 30 years of cruising

Kevin Harrison, who is about to turn 75 years on his present escapade to the Caribbean, availed his first cruise in 1993 with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and since then he has stuck with the company, completing over 100 cruises, with 15 around the world.

To highlight his 2,500th night on board, as Kevin was relishing a voyage to Madeira on Borealisas, a portion of the Fleet in Funchal, he was given a surprise party which was attended by dozens of team members of Fred. Olsen who he defines as his very good friends.

Also, he enjoyed dinner with Captain Rommel Pineda. Rommel started his career as a deck boy in 1996 on board Black Prince, during Kevin’s seventh cruise.

He has grown affection of Captain Rommel, having seeing every step of his life-journey through the Fred. Olsen ranks. To get the opportunity to spend his 2,500th day with the captain and with other crews, he knows so well that it brought tears to his eyes.

Almost 30 years back, he was bitten by the travel bug after booking a Fred. Olsen cruise for his 45thbirthday on its Black Prince ship and after that he has never looked back and never even considered booking a holiday with any other cruise company.
