Today marked a significant milestone as the MSC cruise ship operated by Aida Cruises made its inaugural docking at the Xiamen International Cruise Port. This historic occasion was accompanied by the announcement of a new voyage schedule commencing on March 14, 2024. The itinerary includes a 5-day, 4-night journey to Okinawa and a 4-day, 3-night excursion to Jeju, both departing from Xiamen. Notably, this marks the Mediterranean Sea’s debut in catering to the southern Chinese market.
In honor of the occasion and to extend a warm welcome to MSC and its approximately 2,000 passengers, the Xiamen International Cruise Port hosted an elaborate reception ceremony. Representatives from the Xiamen Port Authority, Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau, Xiamen International Cruise Home Port Group, and Xiamen Heping Terminal Co., Ltd. were present to partake in this momentous event.
