A semi-truck crash results in the closure of southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike

The Florida Turnpike’s southbound section was closed in Jupiter on Friday morning due to a fatal accident involving a semi-truck.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the incident happened just after one in the morning at mile marker 113, which is located north of Donald Ross Road and before the PGA Boulevard exit.

WPTV Chopper 5 footage showed the heavily damaged semi-truck that had caught fire, emphasizing how serious the situation was.

The Florida Turnpike’s southbound lanes were closed in Jupiter on Tuesday due to a fatal semi-truck collision. The incident, which involved a tractor-trailer and another vehicle and happened close to Indiantown Road, had a big effect on the traffic in the area.

The unfortunate number of lives lost in the early morning crash was the consequence. Law enforcement officials and paramedics were among the emergency response teams that raced to the scene to help and look into what caused the collision.
