Accelya Marks Historic 146% Growth In Corporate New Distribution Capability Bookings In 2024

Accelya, a prominent provider of retailing software for the global airline industry, reported a historic milestone for corporate New Distribution Capability (NDC) bookings on January 7, 2025. The announcement highlights a remarkable 146% year-over-year growth in corporate NDC volumes for 2024 compared to 2023, underscoring the rapid adoption of modern retailing practices by airlines and travel sellers. This surge reflects the growing demand for streamlined, tailored, and dynamic travel solutions.

The significant growth in NDC adoption aligns with the expanding availability of NDC-enabled airline content through Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and the steady rebound of corporate travel in the post-pandemic era. Today’s corporate travelers prioritize a seamless travel experience that combines productivity, comfort, and cost-efficiency. They increasingly value features like flexible booking options, seat selection, and itinerary management—key elements supported by NDC technology, which addresses the rising need for personalization and convenience.

Accelya’s FLX ONE platform plays a pivotal role in this transformation, facilitating over 50% of global NDC transactions and generating more than 30 billion unique offers daily. By efficiently managing the entire Offer, Order, Settle, and Deliver (OOSD) retailing process, Accelya empowers airlines and TMCs to deliver highly relevant, engaging content for corporate travelers, driving the shift toward a customer-centric future in airline retailing.

“2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for NDC adoption in corporate travel,”said Tye Radcliffe, Chief Customer Success Officer at Accelya. ”Airlines and TMCs are steadily adopting modern retailing technologies to better meet the evolving expectations of business travelers. At Accelya, we’re proud to play a role in this transformation. Our FLX ONE platform gives airlines the flexibility to manage their full retailing journey while seamlessly integrating with key travel sellers and travel technology providers. This strong growth in TMC NDC volumes on January 7 and in 2024 overall reflects the collective progress the industry is making toward more connected and customer-centric retailing, with NDC volumes anticipated to see double-digit growth across the industry this year.”
