At last Myanmar will be accepting applications regarding e-visa by tourists after the pandemic. The Ministry, Immigration and Population, Myanmar, unveiled that their services related to e-visa would kick-start from May 15th. In April, after the Government resumed international flight services, this decision was made.

In Myanmar, as the rate in Covid-19 positive cases have finally gone down, for foreign travellers, this e-visa reopening service comes a boon. From April 1st, applications for business e-visas are being accepted. In 2014, applying for e-visas started, following is the website URL: https://evisa.moip.gov.mm/

4 ways to get Myanmar E-Visa:

• Fill out the online form.
• Verify, confirm and pay via credit card. In your email, you will get the acknowledgement.
• It takes 3 days to get approval and will be despatched in your email id. Upon arrival, you’ll have to produce the letter and passport.
• At the Checkpoint, present the letter of approval. On verifying, your passport will get stamped.

In Myanmar, Shwedagon or Greater Dragon Pagoda, Kyaiktiyo Zedi – the Golden Rock, Shwenandaw Monastery, and Taung Kalat are some of the must-watch Buddha temples to see. In Myanmar, the beautiful temples, rivers and caves hold relevance of the Buddhist ear. They are charming and stand out in terms of their fascinating architecture.

If you are spiritual by nature, Myanmar can be one of those places which you can visit to experience tranquillity and peace.
