AirAsia sweeps LCC categories at World Travel Awards 2023

AirAsia concludes the year with a triumphant note, dominating the Leading Low-Cost Airline categories at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final 2023. The airline secured the title of the World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline for an impressive eleventh consecutive year and the World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for an outstanding seventh consecutive year.

In a notable achievement, AirAsia X (AAX) clinched the prestigious World’s Leading Long-Haul Low-Cost Airline award. AAX’s success in its debut nomination underscores the airline’s exceptional recovery and growth trajectory after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic.

Outperforming 15 other airlines, AirAsia earned the highest votes from industry players, consumers, and travel experts across the region. These accolades build on AirAsia’s earlier triumphs as Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline and Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew at the World Travel Awards Asia and Oceania in September.
