AirBaltic has unveiled its exciting plans for Summer 2026, with a significant expansion of services on 30 routes across the Baltics and high-demand destinations like Turkey, Sweden, Lithuania, Finland, Poland, Greece, Germany, and Austria. This move is set to provide passengers with more seamless travel experiences, enhancing connectivity and offering increased flight options to popular and emerging destinations.
Latvia’s airBaltic has revealed plans to boost the frequency of over 30 existing routes throughout the Baltics for the Summer 2026 season. The airline will enhance services on 20 routes departing from Riga, four from Tallinn, and seven from Vilnius. This expansion aims to provide passengers with more flexible travel options and strengthened connectivity across the region.

For the summer season ahead, airBaltic will introduce ten new routes departing from the Baltic capitals. Passengers flying from Riga will be able to reach Antalya (Turkey), Gothenburg (Sweden), Kaunas (Lithuania), Oulu (Finland), and Warsaw (Poland). From Tallinn, new connections will be offered to Athens (Greece), Hamburg (Germany), and Vienna (Austria), while Vilnius will see fresh routes to Chisinau (Moldova) and Zurich (Switzerland).
In addition to the new services, airBaltic will also resume flights on four routes: Riga to Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Belgrade (Serbia), and Yerevan (Armenia), along with Tallinn to Oslo (Norway). These new destinations and increased frequencies will provide travelers with more choices and flexibility for both business and leisure journeys.

This expansion will enhance seat capacity across the Baltic States, increasing availability by 12% in Riga (with over 400,000 additional seats), 11% in Tallinn (with more than 90,000 seats), and 21% in Vilnius, Palanga, and Kaunas (adding over 150,000 seats).
As the largest airline in the Baltic region, airBaltic boasts one of the youngest fleets in Europe, operating 51 modern Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The airline is also a pioneer in offering free high-speed SpaceX Starlink internet on its flights, with plans to extend this service across its entire fleet.
