airBaltic, Latvia’s flagship airline, is thrilled to share the remarkable growth of its airBaltic Club loyalty program’s membership rate, which soared to nearly 25% in the initial two months of 2024. This growth translates to about 68,000 of the 566,000 passengers flying with airBaltic in January and February being members of the airBaltic Club, marking a new record in membership engagement. The loyalty program’s membership has been steadily increasing in both absolute numbers and as a percentage of the total passenger base.

Māris Rudens, Head of Loyalty and Partnerships of airBaltic: “New year marks a new milestone for the
airBaltic Club – with a membership penetration rate nearing 25%, we not only celebrate this achievement
but also the trust and value our passengers place in us. This record-high membership confirms our
dedication to enhancing the passenger experience. Moreover, having surpassed one million members, we
are now aiming for 1.3 million in 2024. The airBaltic Club continues to evolve, offering more opportunities
to earn and redeem loyalty points, reaffirming our commitment to improving travel experiences.”

We appreciate your trust, and as we have more new ideas to implement in the airBaltic Club, we hope that they will both continue to attract an increasing number of new users and bring satisfaction to already
existing ones,” Rudens added.

By the close of 2023, the airBaltic Club had hit a significant milestone with one million members, 70% of whom hail from the Baltic Countries and Finland. The program attracts approximately 30,000 new members monthly and sees 150,000 users engaging with its mobile app regularly. The airBaltic Club allows members to earn points on flights with airBaltic or through services from travel partners, offering various rewards.

Additionally, a noteworthy aspect of the loyalty program is the introduction of Planies – digital collectible NFTs featuring unique cartoon-style aircraft artwork with various characteristics.

airBaltic serves an extensive network of over 100 routes from its bases in Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, and Tampere, connecting passengers to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
