This strategic expansion will provide travelers with more flexibility and convenience when journeying between Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, and the Dutch hub of Amsterdam. The enhanced schedule also boosts access to international destinations, leveraging Amsterdam’s status as one of Europe’s most prominent aviation gateways.

Enhanced Connectivity Across the Baltics and Beyond

Beginning March 30, 2025, airBaltic will introduce three daily flights between Riga and Amsterdam, along with two daily flights from Tallinn and Vilnius to Amsterdam. This move is designed to cater to the growing demand for travel between the Baltic region and the Netherlands, while also offering enhanced connections to worldwide destinations via Amsterdam’s extensive global network.

The airline’s decision to ramp up flight frequencies reflects its commitment to delivering superior connectivity options for both leisure and business travelers. By increasing daily services, airBaltic aims to provide more flexible travel choices, making it easier for passengers to organize their itineraries efficiently.

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “As the leading airline in the Baltic States, we are committed to providing the best global connectivity from the region to destinations worldwide. Amsterdam is one of the most popular destinations in our network, and by closely monitoring market trends and passenger demand, we recognize that increasing flight frequency is a strategically important step for the Baltic region. This expansion will also provide customers with greater connectivity options and attract more tourists from around the world.”

Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport serves as a vital transit point for global travelers, offering connections to North America, Asia, Africa, and other parts of Europe. With increased daily services, airBaltic passengers can benefit from more convenient layover times and smoother transit experiences, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to delivering top-tier connectivity.
