Akasa Air Introduces Direct Mumbai-Prayagraj Route, Bolstering Uttar Pradesh Connections

Akasa Air, India’s rapidly expanding airline, has initiated flights from Prayagraj, linking it directly to Mumbai with daily non-stop services. The first flight took off on 25 May 2024 at 13:40 from Prayagraj Airport, landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 16:00. This new connection enhances Akasa Air’s network in Uttar Pradesh, with Prayagraj becoming the fourth city in the state to join the airline’s expanding route map.

Prayagraj is not only celebrated for its rich literary and artistic legacy but also serves as a vital hub for economic, cultural, and political activities. It invites visitors to explore its historical narratives, diverse traditions, and the confluence of education and culture.
