Al Zorah Golf Club Shines with Gold Flag Recognition and Retail Excellence at Dubai Ceremony

Al Zorah Golf Club has solidified its status as a top golf destination in the Middle East by securing two major accolades at the 5th 59club Middle East & Africa Service Excellence Awards. For the first time in its history, it was recognized as a Gold Flag Property alongside winning the Golf Retail Team of the Year award. This significant achievement was celebrated during a splendid ceremony on the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubai Maritime City on March 7.

Located in Al Zorah City, United Arab Emirates, the prestigious club was lauded with the Gold Flag award, a testament to its consistent excellence in facilities and exceptional customer service. Under the leadership of golf operations manager Stephen Payne, the club also clinched the title for Golf Retail Team of the Year. Furthermore, Al Zorah was a finalist in three additional categories, highlighting the team’s dedication to delivering an unparalleled golfing experience.

The 59club Service Excellence Awards are highly regarded in the golf industry, honoring teams and managers who excel in providing superior customer experiences. Nominees undergo a rigorous assessment through a mystery shopping program spanning a year, ensuring that only the best in golf and hospitality operations are recognized for their service excellence.

Operated by Troon under its Troon Golf brand, Al Zorah Golf Club is home to the UAE’s inaugural Nicklaus Design golf course.
