Alaska Airlines, destinations,

As the festive season approaches, bringing with it an increase in travel activity, Alaska Airlines is thrilled to announce the launch of nine exciting new direct flight routes. These include pioneering voyages to the Bahamas and Guatemala, marking our first-ever excursions to these destinations. Additionally, we’re introducing new routes connecting Las Vegas to two Mexican cities, as well as a highly anticipated seasonal service linking Palm Springs with New York City.

The appetite for travel continues to surge, with passengers eager to explore and unwind. Options range from brief hops along the West Coast to extraordinary international destinations within a comfortable distance.

“We have a diverse array of new destinations – ranging from sun-kissed beaches to frosty mountain peaks, vibrant urban centers to peaceful desert escapes,” stated Kirsten Amrine, Alaska Airlines’ Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning. “Our expansion into international flights includes first-time services to countries like the Bahamas, with its stunning islands and clear blue waters, and Guatemala, a land rich in adventure, history, and culture.”

Los Angeles and Seattle to Nassau, Bahamas
Launching our inaugural flights to the Caribbean, we now offer direct services from Los Angeles and Seattle to Nassau, Bahamas’ vibrant capital. Partnering with Bahamasair, our customers can easily venture from Nassau to the serene out islands. Morning departures from Los Angeles and Seattle ensure late afternoon arrivals in Nassau. This new Nassau service is our 101st direct route from Seattle, our primary hub.

Expanding into Latin America: Guatemala
We’re broadening our reach in Latin America with new daily services between Los Angeles and Guatemala City, a fresh international destination for us. Our Los Angeles hub boasts the most flights to the most destinations in Latin America, with up to 18 daily flights this winter to 12 cities in the region.

Las Vegas: Gateway to Mexico and San Luis Obispo
Las Vegas now serves as a new hub for flights to two of Mexico’s favorite destinations: Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, with convenient midday arrivals. Additionally, our new daily seasonal flight from San Luis Obispo to Las Vegas provides seamless connections to our broader network and easier Mexico access for our Central Coast California customers.

Direct Flights from Palm Springs to New York JFK
Responding to Southern California’s demand for more East Coast direct flights, we’re launching a seasonal service connecting Palm Springs with New York City. Our morning departures from New York ensure a lunchtime arrival in Palm Springs, allowing passengers to enjoy the sunny destination to the fullest. Alaska Airlines leads in offering the most flights to Palm Springs.

New Routes from Orange County
We’re now operating new daily seasonal flights from Southern California’s Orange County to both Bozeman and Tucson. Bozeman opens doors to Montana’s winter adventures, while Tucson promises sunny, warm escapes in Arizona.

Enhanced Inflight Experience
Our aircraft, including mainline and regional jets, feature three-class cabins. First Class and Premium Class passengers benefit from priority boarding and the most spacious legroom amongst domestic carriers. Our First Class offers complimentary seasonal meals with fresh West Coast flavors, along with a variety of drinks. Premium Class passengers also enjoy complimentary cocktails, wines, and beers.

For entertainment, passengers can stream hundreds of movies and TV shows on their devices. Our flights are equipped with fast satellite Wi-Fi, available for purchase, and the option to pre-order fresh meals. Every seat in our mainline flights has power outlets for device charging.
