Travel And Tour World chanced upon the opportunity to interview the amazing Alieya Alie Kargbo, who is a DMC of Sierra Leone. He is the CEO of Tourism is Life Tours. This organization is a member partner of 1 DCM World, a reputable international network of DMCs that operates in more than 110 nations, including Sierra Leone.

Travel And Tour World: Can you please talk about the services you offer for tourists?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: We play a crucial role in providing a range of services, such as excursions and tours, that make obtaining visas easier. We also offer medical evacuation as well as travel insurance.

Travel And Tour World: Right now, ecotourism is an important aspect. What is your take on this?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: Ecotourism is an essential element that should be deeply embedded in the conscious awareness of tour operators. Every single individual has distinct expectations. Therefore, it is crucial to approach it delicately. Beaches, culture, history, heritage, and wildlife all require greater awareness and sensitivity on our part.

Travel And Tour World: How can you meet the requirements of travelers who are always trying to figure out what they want to see on their itinerary?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: See, as tour operators, we always aim to tailor the itinerary of our customers to cater to their needs and wants. And in doing so, the customers are satisfied. Therefore, even though our clients are far from home, we should provide for their needs when they come to visit our nation. So that they feel at home.

Travel And Tour World: Which nations or kinds of tourists do you normally target to promote Sierra Leone?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: The UK and Germany are our top clientele, but we are also starting to see a large influx of Spanish and French customers. We have outgrown our place in the American market by giving African Americans tours of their roots and culture. And many Americans are visiting our nation for the same reason. That being said, these are the factors that enable us to create a spike in the number of visitors arriving in Sierra Leone.

Travel And Tour World: How do you collaborate with local supplies in Sierra Leone?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: Actually, you know, as the DMC, I can speak with ease and pride about our partnership with local operators, regardless of their nationality.

Travel And Tour World: What are the places you aim to promote when tourists visit Sierra Leone?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: At the moment, our goal is to draw attention to and popularize our stunning Mount Bintumani. In addition, it is the tallest mountain in West Africa. Travelers can easily explore the wildlife park from there. In addition, one can travel to the Outamba-Kilimi National Park, which is tucked away in Sierra Leone’s northwest, and the Gola Rainforest National Park. Other options include going to Tiwai Island, where visitors can see chimpanzees, pygmy hippopotamuses, eleven different species of monkeys, and numerous bird species. As an alternative, you could go to the Western Area peninsula, which is home to eleven different colored beaches. The area bustles with golden crescent, and white sand beaches; even people can visit the marvellous Black Johnson Beach.

Travel And Tour World: Can you kindly state the ways tourists can access your information?

Alieya Alie Kargbo: The website is https://tourismislife.com/
