In a notable enhancement to the travel offerings of AlUla, three leading airlines—Gulf Air, Royal Jordanian, and Saudia—have introduced new flight services, significantly improving the region’s connectivity and ease of access to this premier boutique heritage site. This development opens the doors for visitors eager to explore a unique mix of historical, cultural, and adventurous experiences. Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national airline, is broadening its presence in Saudi Arabia by launching direct flights to AlUla, commencing on February 3rd. This service, operating twice a week, will be available until March 6th and then resume from April 10th to April 27th, marking a seasonal enhancement to the travel options to this destination.

Royal Jordanian Airlines is also joining the scene with direct flights from Amman to AlUla, starting February 16th. These flights will run twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, until December 22nd, offering another convenient route for travelers.

Saudia is bridging the gap between Europe and AlUla by reintroducing seasonal flights from Paris, which started on January 28th and will run until April 28th. Operating once a week on Sundays, this service creates a straightforward connection from the captivating Parisian landscape to the historical allure of AlUla.

Rami AlMoallim, Vice President of Destination Management and Marketing at the Royal Commission
for AlUla (RCU) said: “The introduction of new flight options connecting AlUla to Bahrain, Amman, and
Paris comes as we experience a period of exciting growth and witness demand from global travellers
wanting to visit this historic location. These new flight routes not only enhance the connectivity but also
opening a gateway for travellers worldwide to experience the captivating charm of AlUla. We believe
these new routes will play a pivotal role in fostering cultural exchange and contribute to the growth of
AlUla’s tourism, inviting more people to embark on a revitalising journey through our extraordinary
destination.”

Furthermore, current direct flight services include connections from Dubai via flydubai, and from Doha through Qatar Airways. AlUla is also accessible with direct flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam offered by Saudia and flynas, ensuring a variety of routes for prospective visitors to this remarkable destination.
